I have been away, but I have been playing!!

 Welcome back!!  Yes, I have been away from here for way too long, but I have not stepped away from my crafting!  I am excited to post some new ideas using the Stampin' Up! By Your Side Kit!

This kit is super cute with the cats and dogs and who doesn't love littly fur baby paw prints!  This kit is way more than just a card kit and I hope you will come along with me to see how I turned one Stampin' Up! kit into 4 traditional cards, a 1 page layout and a 2 page spread!  Oh, and I have enough elements left over that I could make either another card or 1 page layout!  I don't know a lot of kits that you can get for just a little over $20.00 and make so many projects!

This is such an adorable kit!!  I couldn't wait to get it in and start playing with all the cute pet images!  This kit coordinates well with a lot of our colors and also some of the Designer Series Paper collections.

Scrapbook page #1 went together quickly and turned out so cute!  I can't wait to find just the right photos for this layout.

This layout was made by adding a 12"x12" sheet of Wild Wheat cardstock and a partial sheet of A Little Latte Designer Series paper.  THAT'S IT!!

5 Ingredient Card Tutorial!

 Good evening my friends!!

On to our 5 ingredient card tutorial

Today we are doing a wonderful, masculine Father's Day card for any of the special men in your life!

Step 1:  Gather your supplies

• TUXEDO BLACK MEMENTO INK PAD

  BASIC WHITE 8-1/2" X 11" CARDSTOCK

  TAKE TO THE SKY 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

*you will not see prices on the Adventurous Sky Bundle, Take to the Sky DSP or Industrial Trinkets as these items will not be available until May 1st in the new 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

Step 2: Cut out your card elements

You will need a 5.5"x8.5" sheet of Basic White Cardstock, scored and folded at 4.25".  1 sheet 12"x12" pattern from the Take to the Sky paper pack that you will cut a panel 5.25"x4" to use as your background.  Then using the memory card paper, cut out the panel showing the airplanes flying up into the sky with clouds.

Step 3: adhere your background panel to your card base as shown above.

Step 4: Next stamp "happiest father's day" in Tuxedo Black ink onto the upper right corner of your airplane panel.

Step 5:  Adhere the airplain panel to the background with Stampin' Dimensionals at a slight angle. Finally add your embelishments.  I used 3 and selected random locations.

That's it, you're done!!

This evening I am sharing with you a project that I have been challanged by Stampin' Up! to complete.  #SimpleStamping Challange 

Using products that are on the last chance/retiring list to create a Thank You card.  So here is what I worked on this evening.

As of April 9th you will be able to order (while supplies last) a number of the discounted retired products!  How fun is that.  So if you see it and want it, don't let it slip away!  The stampset used here was Dainty Delight and it is on that retiring list and will be discounted by 30% on April 9th, that means you can get this set for less than $20.00!  Along with many more products discounted up to 60%!  You can see that list on my website.

I am SO excited that I received my print version of the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Catalog! Up until now I have only been able to look at the PDF version.  It is beautiful and I cannot wait to share with you what delights are between these covers!!
