Totally Biased Review!!

Warning!! This is a completely biased review! Don't come at me, LOL!

Let's talk scrapbook page protectors.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Creative Memories albums, however I do NOT love the 12x12 pocket page protectors. There, I said it.

Enter Stampin' Up! Are you surprised?! Stampin' Up! has added to their scrapbooking line and I am so excited. My first try for my albums were to try out the 12x12 side load, strap hinge page protectors in my CM albums (for those of you die hard CM fans keep reading!) I am IN LOVE! Not only do they fit nicely in the CM cover sets, they are more sturdy and with them being side load the completed pages do not slip out the top of the page! Even better, page for page they are more economical than the CM protectors and the quality is much better than the protectors you can get from Hobby Lobby (yes, they have strap hinge page protectors as well).

Who's willing to give them a try?! Here's your chance! Comment below that you are willing to try the Stampin' Up! page protectors and a random entrance will win a full set of 10 pages from me! Comment below by Sunday 6/29/2025 at noon. I will go live with a random drawing to announce the winner!

Sunday blues Buster!

Good evening, Crafters!
I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend!

Can you believe how quickly it flew by? I’ve definitely been feeling those Sunday blues… anyone else? Instead of letting them get the best of me, I decided to shake them off with a little creativity—and I made a card!

✨ Introducing: Long Time No See! ✨

I'm especially excited about this one because I used a brand-new Stampin’ Up! stamp set that hasn’t even been released to the public yet! How cool is that?

The dachshund in this set has completely stolen my heart. Isn’t it just the most adorable thing you've ever seen? I’m already dreaming up ways to use this little cutie in so many scrapbook layouts—especially since I have a mischievous little doxie of my own

This card was created using the following;

Long Time No See stamp set

Lemon Lime Twist Ink and Marker

Strawberry Slush Ink and Marker

Darling Duckling Ink and Marker

Black Journalling Marker

Pecan Pie Marker

Basic White and Strawberry Slush Cardstock

This is a quick fun card, that I hope you enjoy!  Be ready, July 3rd is release date for this and so many other new, great Online Exclusives!

Come over and visit my website for all the goodies!!  Your Stampin' Home

Let me know what you think—and if you’ve created anything fun this weekend, I’d love to hear about it!

Look Ma, No Stamps!!

Good night haha!  This will be a late post this evening since I got busy preping for a day crop and craft.  Have you gone or attended a retreat or day crop? I LOVE spending time with my crafty friends in a fun group of like minded crafters!

Well, before I go on and on about the fun of crafting away, lets get to the reason for my post!  I have been working on using my Stampin' Up!© Designer Series Papers (DSP) for my scrapbooking.  I am extremely excited to have Scrapbooking focused on more through my favorite craft company.  I have always loved their cardstocks and DSP.

This layout is for my Tennessee album, from a visit from my husband's mother.  We had a fun day touring Nashville with her and I love how the bright colors on my DSP make the photos pop.  This was an easy layout that came together quickly.  I only used five 12x12 sheets of DSP/cardstock!  So quick AND economical!

I'm calling this layout Nashvegas!

Supplies needed

On the go 12x12 DSP
Mixed Media Florals 12x12 DSP
Whisper White cardstock 12x12

Mini Alphabet dies

5 or 6 photos (1 4x6, 1 6x4, 1 4x4, 2 3.5x5)

You will need your basics: Paper trimmer, adhesive of choice and a journaling pen.

Come check out all the pretty papers!
ladystampz.stampinup.net

Directions;

1. Trim and crop photos to the listed sizes based on your two larger photos to act as focal points on the right and left page.  (See all photos below)

2. Trim and mat your photos with Whisper White cardstock

3. Cut your DSP as follows

Choose 2 background DSP with minimal or tone on tone colors.  I chose the map look DSP for my background.

Trim the street sign DSP to 8.5x15 (cut 2) and adhere 2.5 inches down from the top of the right and left hand pages, next trim 4 strips of the mixed media "B" side to border your your DSP with the street signs, you will put one strip each on the top and bottom as shown in the picture.

4. Trim your 6x4 sub title card from the On the go 12x12 DSP with the large directional sign and your journaling spot with the arrow.  You will fussy cut out the size needed for your journal location.

5. Use scrap On The Go DSP to die cut your alphabets, depending on your choice of title, you may need to die cut several.

6. Finish by assembling your pages as shown in the photo above, fussy cut a few embellishments from your DSP

With these fur babies I am always photographing cute antics.  How about you?  Do you have cats with character or dogs with dignity?

We all need our silly pets and we all need those scrapbook kits that help us put together the perfect layout!

You can find these and many other awesome bundles at my website Amberlynn's CM Website

Now!  Are you all ready for a great layout to put to gether with the Go Fetch kit?

This is what we will be making today!

Isn't this just adorable! Super easy to come together as well.

I started with a sketch found on Pinterest that matched the number of photos I was looking to scrap.  I am unable to find the person who originally posted this sketch so I cannot give credit, but you can find it HERE

For this layout you will need the Go Fetch products pictured below...

You will also need the following additional cardstocks:  1 sheet each Solid White 12x12 Cardstock and Hot Fudge 12x12 Cardstock.

You will need these tools:

Once you have assembled your supplies, you will want to trim your pictures down to 3.5x5 inches.  Once done you can start the cutting and assembly.

Trim the white cardstock to just under 4x5.25 inches

Next you will cut all the remaining layers.
Once done, you will begin assembling your page.

Next, you will want to follow these pictures in order.  This is how you will assemble your layout.

First start with the stripes as your base.  Then trim the Hot Fudge down to 9.25x12 inches

The striped pattern paper will be your base.  When ready adhere the Hot Fudge cardstock to striped base; leaving 1/2inch border on left edge.

Next, you will adhere the journalling panel (has been trimmed on long left side of the page to 2 inches), this will tuck slightly under the Hot Fudge cardstock along the right outer edge.

After these steps have been completed you will want to adhere the rest of the page.

1. Trim white solid cardstock down to 4x5.25 inches. (you will need 4)
2. Adhere solid white to the Hot Fudge cardstock leaving 1/8th inch border around the white cardstock.
3. Adhere your brown dots pattern paper centered under the bottom two photo mattes.
4. Lastly, you will embelish with punched leaves and flowers (from my stash), along with choosing your title and adding an embelishment cluster to the upper top right hand side of your layout from the stickers.

You will want the adorable sticker pack for this layout to come together.

Lastly, add your photos and journalling and you are done!

If you are like me and want all the things!!  Check out this adorable album cover set!!

You can find this and all your supplies on my website Click me, click me!!

Crafting if Relaxing!

 Good evening my crafty cohorts!

I hope you all are finding time to get crafty!

I have been a busy bee preparing for a retreat I will be attending the middle of this month in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina!  I am so excited as I will be teaching a couple of classes and selling some of my favorite Stampin' Up! kits!

I have been preparing samples of kits, card samples, daily make and takes and all the fun stuff you would like to see at a retreat!  I personally have never been a vendor at a retreat like this so I am excited and a little nervous.  So, my question to you my helpful people.  If you were attending a retreat with vendors on site, what type of things would you like to see available?  Answer in the comments here for a chance to win a prize!  Now I know we ALL like prizes!

One of my favorite makes from this week was the Paper Pumkin July kit!  If you haven't joined Paper Pumpkin, what are you waiting for!  For $25.00 a month you can get a kit that you can play with for weeks!  I have been making so many alternatives to the traditional card directions that my baskets are overflowing.  Home decor, scrapbook layouts, cards, gift tags!  You can do it all with a kit from Paper Pumpkin!

These kits aren't small either!  Check out all you receive.

Here are some fun examples!

Who knows, maybe you are one kit away from the crafting bug biting you!

There are so many kits available through Stampin' Up, it is hard to choose just one, that's exactly why I enjoy receiving the kit each month.  It is like a little gift to myself!

Gift yourself by visiting my website HERE

As a reminder, starting August 6th there will be a 15% off sale on select Designer Series Paper!!  Get it while you can!

As always, have a wonderful day!  Please, like, share and comment so we can get my blog moving!  I look forward to all of your crafty questions!
